Inputs
| Pin | Type | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
| Orrery Terrain Layer Grass | Orrery Terrain Layer Grass | — | — |
Outputs
| Pin | Type | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Grass Type | Landscape Grass Type Soft Object Reference | The grass type whose varieties grow on this layer. |
| Density Scale | Float | Multiplies every variety's density (FGrassVariety::GetDensity(), in the unit kGrassDensityToPer100m2 converts). |
| Slope Range Deg (advanced) | Vector 2 D | Surface slope range in which the grass grows, degrees from horizontal: x = lowest, y = highest. |
| Slope Fade Deg (advanced) | Float | Width of the smooth fade outside the slope range, degrees. |
| Altitude Range M (advanced) | Vector 2 D | World altitude range in which the grass grows, metres: x = lowest, y = highest. |
| Altitude Fade M (advanced) | Float | Width of the smooth fade outside the altitude range, metres. |
| Ground Class Mask (advanced) | Integer | Ground classes the grass grows on: bit c is class c for c below 31; bit 31 stands for classes 31 and above. |
| Keep Clear Margin M (advanced) | Float | Grass stays this far away from a formation footprint or an opening, metres (the rail's shoulder). |
| On Plates (advanced) | Boolean | Grass also grows inside plate footprints. |
Description
A layer may have several. The entry's density weight is the layer's effective weight at the point (painted weight plus the material's auto rules); the fields here narrow where and how thickly it grows. Tier 3 data; the grass system turns each variety of the type into an FScatterVariety.
