FOrreryTerrainStampWire

Editor only

One build of a stamp's wire ghost (built on a worker thread): EvaluateStampPreview's 65 × 65 grid of the stamp's result over the ground sampled at StampPreviewPoint, which cuts, and the lines the tool draws.

Description

Lines and CutLines are segment pairs in world cm, lifted 30 cm off the result, between neighbouring points the stamp writes. A segment whose ends both lie on or above the ground goes to Lines, drawn depth-tested; one whose ends both lie below it (MarkStampPreviewCuts) goes to CutLines, drawn through the ground; a segment that crosses the ground is split where its change from the ground passes zero. CutDepths gives each cut segment its depth, so a shallow cut draws faint and a deep one strong, as the shaded mesh's cut does. Immutable once built.

Note.

Any thread once published. Tier 3.

The grid: Side, Points_cm (Z the result), Inside, bLoaded; BuildMs is the worker's.

Ground_mmTArray<int32>—

The sampled ground per point (the stamp's base where there is none).

Result_mmTArray<int32>—

The stamp's result per point, the kernel's millimetres.

CutTArray<uint8>—

1 where the point is inside and its result lies below the ground.

Points marked in Cut.

LinesTArray<FVector>—

Segment pairs on or above the ground, world cm.

CutLinesTArray<FVector>—

Segment pairs below the ground, world cm.

CutDepthsTArray<float>—

One per CutLines pair: the mean depth of its ends under the ground, 0 to 1 over the first 30 cm.
